18,000 Wilderness Miles and Still Gliding On!

I am a retired Wilderness Ranger now embarked on an 8000 Mile backpacking journey. I am "Going Loopy in the Wild West - Backpacking the Great Western Loop".
With over 18,000 wilderness miles underfoot over 45 years, you would think that I have had enough. But, I am only just beginning to "Keep on Gliding On" ! On the trails they call me Glider or sometimes Glide On.
